ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND WE SPIN!!!!!!!!!! i know that down by the river is probably highly regarded but i didn't LOVE it only because i feel like it was one constant guitar solo. i thought it was a cool song, however did not feel it was worth putting on a playlist like how i felt with 'everybody knows this is nowhere' and 'round & round' and 'the losing end' i really enjoyed running dry i liked the lyrics a lot and it was a nice switch up from the other songs in the album. i was not expecting that lengthy strings solo i enjoyed cowgirl in the sand, i knew what i was getting into with it being 10 minutes long, so i expected more of insanely long solos. however, i sort of enjoyed the neverending soloing because it differed from music in the 21st century with programmed outlines that describe rules for music.

vicious is groovy vibes!!!! i liked the repetition of the quick strumming guitar. i enjoyed the percussion. the lyricism is meh but easy to listen to. "when i watch you coming i just have to run" so real i relate andys chest is cute i like all the calls to nature. lyrics sort of random like wtf is he saying just spit balling random jizz. just looked in the credits and david bowie is credited as a producer? was i supposed to know this? perfect day chorus SLAPS i was expecting myself to be bored and yawning while i read the lyrics, but the beat drop was beautiful. him singing about his "perfect day" yet sounding so miserable is so me. the chorus definitely sounds produced by david bowie so this makes sense. especially mixed with the absolute BANGER keys and band. ending was a tad mid but overall i enjoyed. hangin' round is how i feel about all of my friends (half serious) (heh...) def a groovy jizzy beat. i was tapping my foot along with the music. i find the tones of instruments to be very interesting and unique i really like how they compliment his voice! (is lou reed a band or a single person? or both?) i really really like how the chorus is intertwined with the story that is being told it is very fun. i have noticed that his outros are somewhat weak; either fade outs or just him repeating words. walk on the wild side "shaved her legs and then he was a she" doo doo doo dooo dooo doooo the doo doos seemed a lil weird at first but soon became enjoyable. i like the song and story, however not something i see myself listening to regularly. a very mellow song. yeah i think this is my least favorite, maybe it was inspiring or ambitious for its time but i didn't love it. & again, weak outro. alright HOW is this is most successful. make up this is def what lana del ray was referring to when talking about lou reed. i think maybe its a little fun? idk gives me a weird vibe. i really hate the brass instruments. yes lou we ARE coming out!!!!!! satellite of love i ALSO like to watch things on tv. maybe i am too critical, but his lyricism is just poor and difficult to enjoy. i enjoy his voice and production, but half the time i don't understand what the hell he is trying to say. it just sounds like hes trying to get out words in order to call it a song. baby you can come up with better than this!!!! the lyrics ended 2 minutes in and the second half of the song just repeated the same lyrics. bruhhhhhh. ok snaps i enjoy the new. okay trumpets play for me now! i SWEAR I JUST HEARD BOWIE. OKAY THIS IS FUNNBNNNNNN!!!!!!!! SATELLITEEEEEEEEEE OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i liked the second half SO MUCH MORE than the first. wagon wheel i dont like the heavenly father part. it threw me off. maybe i am stupid. what does it mean to be a wagon wheel. i dont like the ending either. i dont like the song alright i made up my mind. new york telephone conversation i thought that lou reed was rock i am sofuckingconfused. this song sounds like something that count olaf and the two old lady twins would sing to the baudelaire children. genuinely HOW did bowie produce this. im so free okay this is funner...... not sold yet though. yeah yeah alright i get it ur so free yada yada yada goodnight ladies i am so so so sorry i know he is seen to be a legend, but i just don't enjoy his lyrics!!!!!! I am BORED! the ladies have LEFT!!!!! Stop saying Goodnight. alriight i am sick of this album.

break on through (to the other side) fyaaaaa intro to the album. loving this voice and gritty guitar. it sounds like hes yelling down a long room. loving that bass line & outro!!!!! soul kitchen i recognize this!!!! gotta look if it was in a movie or something. ok it was in forrest gump. turns out they were inspired by van morrison's "gloria". very groovy song. i am enjoying the vocals and the synth. i think it's synth? i think i hear him vocal doubling. im pretty sure the beatles did that often. the crystal ship change of pace! very magical and i think that i like this range of his voice and style. i like the piano. i already had this song saved in my library, but i don't really recognize it. these outros are so much better than lou reeds...... twentieth century fox haiiillll yesssssss. im BOOGIE-ING. brrrrrrrrr guitar solo take me home. also, he is singing about me heh....... right..... if lou reed wrote on this concept, it would sound like shit. these lyrics are simple yet effective & i am very much enjoying them. alabama song (whiskey bar) i am not enjoying this one. & looking at the lyrics i am not excited to endure this for 3 minutes. yeah did not like that. light my fire hmmmmm mid. fun guitar and bass, lyrics i dont really care. & for SEVEN MINUTES???????? gonna go feed the cats while ts plays. ok im back. loooong solo. kinda fun tho. back door man reading the lyrics why did he feel the need to write about him liking chicken. i like the overall rhythm and melody though. i just remembered one man i had a conversation with at a flea market in new orleans. i was looking at posters of the doors that he had to sell and he told me a story about jim morrison performing in new orleans and he met jim morrison after a show and talked about him. i don't know if the seller was lying or not but it was nice to hear i guess. i looked at you okayyyy i likey. i like the melody. it sounds like a beatles song. yeah essppppp the rasp in "we're on our way" yeaaaahhhhhhooooooooo. got me tapping my foot n shiiiii likkeeeee. end of the night jim morrison is so sexy gah damn. thank yew pinterest! i like this. very calm and soothing. might add it to my snoozy sleepy playlist. very nice. take it as it comes i also had this one already saved. don't recognize it though. organ is giving phantom of the opera haunted mansion realness. i like this song. and i like the lyrics, which is pretty rare. thank you mr. morrison. the end eleven minutes okay 😊 i really like the melody and rhythm of this song. very smooth silky. i think the lyrics are somewhat random but definitely work. yesssss west is the best he gets it. im not gonna add this to a playlist through because 10 minutes is too long. sorry taylor. i thought this album started off very strong, but lacked the farther you listened.

THIS SONG FIRE!!!!! what a crazy lineup for their FIFTH album. it truly only got better for them. pretty maids all in a row is truly the song that just keeps growing on you the more you listen to it. i remember the first time i listened to this i was thrown off by the initial "hi there how are ya" but now its so perfect to me. i fucking love this song. this song is so goddamn BEAUTIFUL. i see HEAVEn. try and love again IS MY FUCKING SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! GENUINELY. i listened to this song non-stop the last time i was on maui. i have the best memories of windows down airpods in and being in my own little paradise. the last resort i fucking cried the first time i heard this. WE CAN LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck. MAN WHAT A CLOSER!!!!! truly no notes for this album like genuinely none. perfect.

BRUH i typed a whole fricken thing and it didn't fricken save im so mad. summary: i felt awful giving prince and his album such a poor rating because i know how proclaimed he and his work is. however, this is not what i expected this album to be--nor did i really enjoy it. i thought most songs (besides purple rain) lacked originality and sounded like carbon copies of each other. maybe this is one of those albums that need to grow on me or maybe im not understanding the goal of the album at all, but the appeal to prince jsut does not click for me. his voice--which sounds like a poor michael jackson impression-- is nice but gets boring, or for his skill on the guitar. (after reading an article titled "why do people like prince?" i know now that he is incredibly talented on an array of instruments and after looking @ credits of his album he is fully self-everything) I understand that he is almost the "god" of music, but it just does not hit for me. maybe i'll have to listen to other music to fully understand. sorry mr. prince, i like mr michael jackson better.

the ecstacy of gold is actual perfection. sounds like incredibles i didn't know metallica was LIKE THIS!!!! i wish i could have witnessed this live. this is such a cool intro song. call of kulu epicness. master of puppets WOW the fricken orchestra goes crazy in this. also first song with vocals. IM EXCITEDDDD. beautiful. of wolf and man was fun. i liked it. the thing that should not be kinda fun kinda weird fuel epic the memory remains is awesome i really like it. no leaf clover kinda sounds like everything else.... hero of the day is cool bleeding me is nice me likey until it sleeps intro was magical.

skipped the first song after looking @ lyrics I LOVE A GOOD BLENDING INTO THE NEXT SONNGGGGG revolution 909 sounds like at universal studios the fast and furious part of the studio tour and ur like listening to the party from afar. love it. WAIT WHY THIS KINDA BOOGY MAKING ME GROOOOOVE sooooo glad that daft punk left the challengers soundtrack to trent reznor and atticus ross. this album gives me a headache and is definitely no cure for the sunday scaries. turn ts off. however i would however love if i was older and enjoyed clubbing bc then i may enjoy this.

sweetest perfection is odd! funny tho ig? i like the calmness of waiting for the night policy of truth kinda fun was happy that this album eventually ended. im sure it was great for its time, however not great for me.

man i do love some neil young. his guitar sounds impeccable. i love his voice as well. sail away and my my, hey hey chill as hell! powderfinger is SO CHILL omg. loving the drums and the more quiet vocals and oooh's. the imagery that is popping into my head from the lyrics and the lead guitar is BEAUTIFUL and SHINY and GREEN and FRESH. loving loving the lyrics. powderfinger is genuinely so beautiful. sedan delivery is wonderful!!!! LOVE the tempo change.

this is a fun silly album. it feels lighthearted. i really am enjoying no return. very soft and airy i like it a lot wtf is harry rag about its kind of impressive that they got 21 tracks out of a <hour album. many many short stories situation vacant is catchy lazy old sun is cute and catchy i like the radio feel and scratchy distant vocals end of the season is gorgeous waterloo sunset brings me BACK act nice and gently IS CUTE ASF!!!! SO FUN AND ROADTRIP!!!!!
