1001 Albums Summary

Pink Moon was overall fine for me. Out of the entire album, I genuinely enjoyed about three songs. Folk music isn’t really my genre, and it’s not something I would normally choose to listen to on my own. Because of that, parts of the album didn’t connect with me on like a musical way. That said, the lyricism stood out. Nick Drake’s writing is very intentional. I could feel what he was trying to express in each song. Even when I didn’t love the sound, the emotions came through, and I found myself relating to the lyrics on many tracks. Every song felt meaningful and the album definitely made me feel something, which I value.
