1001 Albums Summary

Not my usual genre or even my usual subset of rap but enjoyed what feels like a foundational album for rap and hip hop today. Didn’t realize how many hits were on this album! The only one I couldn’t do was Hit It Run bc mouth sounds 😹

My favorite so far actually! 3.75! I was boppinggggg. Enjoyed the first half more than the second half bc tbh…. it started to sound a bit all the same. So on that note…. I don’t want to hear more rock bros tell me that all Taylor songs sound the same!!!

A really interesting album, sonically and musically! Took me a minute to get through and maybe not one that I’ll personally return to often but very glad I listened.

Some classic 80s synth pop! Started to sound a bit all the same but some bangers for sure. Also why does 80s synth pop give Halloween, maybe it’s the minor keys 😹 Overall enjoyed it though! First time listening to Depeche Mode and made we want to listen to more
