1001 Albums Summary

Quintessentially 80’s. Prince, in his debut track, set the standard of being the horniest man in the world against a barrage of synths, with a few classics sprinkled in here and there. 3 Stars (6/10) Favourites: 1999, Little Red Corvette, Lady Cab Driver

For the uninitiated, it’s loud, it’s brash, it’s unrelenting in the melodies it presents. That doesn’t make it bad, it just makes it, well, a lot, which is exactly what an Offspring project should be. The runtime of 46 minutes is a misnomer, however, with the 10min title track actually only running for just shy of 4 minutes, which left a bad taste in the mouth. Literal silence, like what?
