1001 Albums Summary

Groovy, good vibes. Sat nodding my head constantly. Liked the difference/ experimentation on the first track. Watermelon man feels a bit too conventional. Sly was more like it, enjoyed the crazy aspects. It still feels a little less rock/ electronic than I was expecting from descriptions. Like I'm enjoying it, but not sure how often I'd return when compared to other albums of this genre/ period

Heard it a million times. Not the Monkeys at their best, but definitely at their most basic. A soundtrack to my teens and one of my favourite albums ever for a long period of time. I don't vibe with it as much as I used to these days, but some tunes (ironically the more mellow ones) still stick in rotation. Maybe it's the fact that some of the bigger, rockier tunes are such staples of British culture these days that you just can't avoid them. Excited to listen all the way through for the first time in a while

Yeah it was nice. Fairly one note but I appreciated the song writing. Never been too into him so it was good to listen to a full selection.

It was fine, never really vibed with Neil Young
