Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jan 07 2026

Some absolute bangers pulled the weight of this album. Sometimes I loved her sound and sometimes I didn’t (little too squeaky). I liked it better when she wasn’t forcing her voice out of her range. I skipped 2 songs after a minute, just not my vibe.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Jan 08 2026

Liked…didn’t love. Great voices, but some of the songs made me sleepy. Other than California Dreaming (obviously) idk that’d I’d fully listen through any of the other songs again, but I didn’t skip any so that gotta mean something🙈 if there was decimals I’d give it a 2.8 but since there isn’t and I follow the rounding rules I’ll give it a 3.

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 09 2026

Sophomore year Victoria actually listened to this album from beginning to end and I found my notes from back then and my favorites then were —Something in the night, candy’s room, racing in the street, darkness on the edge of town. And those obviously still held up but I kinda messed with Adam Raised a Cain more than I remember. But Bruce is Bruce so not suprised
