1001 Albums Summary

classic folk sound i like the guitars and the western and psychedelic feeling the album is carrying. very on the road songs an it gives me country rock vibes. love the harmonica all throughout the songs. not a type of album i’d give a full listen again but there are some songs i liked for example jig-saw puzzle - stray cat blues

a very funky album with random sounds an structures that weirdly works in some songs, tbh it’s not my type of album however i liked some songs on it like drugs! i guess it depends on what u like but found some songs all over the place with some rhythms not easy listen but overall it was ok! ill check out more music from the talking heads tho favs: cities - drugs

very nice and timeless record. very chill and summer vibes album lowkey makes me want to listen it at a really hot beach with some sunburns too and a beer. californication the song is an anthem and it was pleasing hearing it again favs: scar tissue - californication - porcelain

okay so it was a hard listen cus tbh i wasn’t feeling her so skipped the day and now i’m JUST listening to it with another 3 albums behind.. a pretty solid rock record just not on my frequency. favs: orange crush!

i mean i don’t have that much to say.. i feel like it’s a nice album to play in the background as u’re working or cleaning up ur room.. lowkey can’t believe i spent more than one hour listening to full piano but it wasn’t bad… kinda long but ok

okay tbh i’m not a metal rock type of person so this album didn’t do that much for me.. but there are so classics here and there and this record kinda reminds me of my dad so props to that favs: you really got me - little dreamer!

a very funky and artsy album… i loved janis vocals and how raw and complete they sound all throughout this album. lyrics are really good and it sounds really fresh even tho it came like decades ago… there sre some tracks i’d def go back to! favs: i need a man to love

easily five stars for this record.. just the way lorde knows how to write in such a raw and vulnerable way but at the same time so relatable.. the production in this album is also top tier an it really defined an era back then i got the best memories with this album so just bc of that it’s getting fiveee! favs: hard feelings/loveless - supercut - liability

not my type of album but i get her.. i like the voice in some songs but overall it’s not an album i’d go back to tbh

i really enjoyed listening to this record just starting with the cover.. such a cute cover and the songs were also really bangers i liked the instrumental and that deep voice all throughout the songs. i’d say it carries to eerie vibes but in a very cool way some songs sounded really off putting but that’s what made it kinda cool for me! favs: zopf: in sydney motel - the sound of someone you love who’s going away and it doesn’t matter :)
