these song titles are sooo longgg holy he’s got a beautiful voice wow chicago is sooo good the transitions in this album are smooooth tho very music heavy; not much lyricism this album was just okay! it wasn’t really my vibe, because i like more upbeat things that keep building throughout the song. there were a few songs i liked; only two i put on my playlists. i think my main grievance with this album was what i said earlier: it was too musical, with an extreme lack of lyricism. as someone who bases what she likes off the complexity of the lyricism, this was a let down for me. also— the intros were TOO long. when a song wasn’t just purely instrumental, it still took wayyyy too long to get to the fist verse, so that knocked the album down a few notches. again, it’s not a BAD album, just not for me because it doesn’t align with what i already like. but, i do think sufjan stevens has a beautiful voice & that this album has a great uniqueness in its sound. overall, i’d give this album a 4/10.
