Tastes like: Theme Park Chilli Dawgs / Gas Station Nachos on a summer's evening after breaking up with your first ever girlfriend and deeping it slightly but only slightly because your emotional balls haven't dropped yet. (especially Road Trippin') Anthony Kiedis enunciate challenge - I dont know what your songs are about because you don't say real words, brother. It sounds like he's on a theme park ride and the wind/motion sickness has made his mouth stop working properly. I don't think he should be allowed near a microphone tbh. I liked the ideas within Scar Tissue and Porcelain but they kind of never get deep/poetic enough for me to properly connect with the ideas enough to ever feel emotional. Get on Top is kinda funky (I fw it in the same way I fw with Limp Bizkit) and I liked the punctuation within I Like Dirt and Purple Stain. Chad Smith on all accounts is a great drummer, but there is cymbal overkill at times for me. His solo in Purple Stain absolutely rocks though, good job Chad. I can't see myself listening to anything again outside of the title track every time I go to karaoke. A lot of the album is pretty forgettable for me, and a bit too 'suh dude'.
