Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Jan 29 2026

This album was great. The sound was very interesting and the lyrics were catchy. I have only heard “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Head Over Heels” before, and while these were good I found myself much more drawn to the messages in both “Shout” and “Working Man.” It was a much more political album then I expected, discussing the Cold War, gender roles, and class struggle. Overall a solid 9/10.

The Specials by The Specials
Jan 30 2026

This album was really good. Some awesome early British Jamaican influenced ska music, with a bit of that porto-punk sound as well. It really painted a picture of late 70s England in a way that was very raw and honest. The discussion of race and subculture in these songs was very interesting. Solid 8.5/10.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Feb 02 2026

This album was ok. I’m not really ever a fan of classic rock but it was pretty good for what it is. I would give it a solid 5/10. It just was. Best song imo was “Going to California.”

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Feb 04 2026

This album was nice and calming. As far as instrumental music I did like the way that it made me feel sorrowful and joyous at the same time. 6/10
