Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Jan 29 2026

This may be the first album I wished the vocals were louder but yet the fact nick’s voice is always smooth never erratic is very calming and refreshing to listen to

Jan 30 2026

i know this album well and it makes me calmer every time I hear it

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jan 31 2026

Listening to his inflection is quite illuminating- I picture Frankie acting like he’s a god and to be honest girls across America were brainwashed to thinking he was and so it goes. The one long song is good white noise but Frankie can’t make women who know better swoon . . .

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Feb 01 2026

Tangled up in Blues. Wow I have never been a fan of Dylan and never listened to an entire album. But this song does not hit me like a song - it’s like a spoken novella of his diary and I adore it.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 02 2026

not my favorite Bruce - but it is still the Boss

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Feb 03 2026

Interesting album - recognized the music even without lyrics . . .

The Specials by The Specials
Feb 04 2026

I have loved The Specials since I discovered them a million years ago

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Feb 06 2026

The songs are are very nice and relaxing - if the day calls for it

Tommy by The Who
Feb 07 2026

I read once that this album was written during Townshend's mystical moments in life, and it's based on his own horrible abuse from his grandmother. This album follows a deaf, mute, and blind boy who suffers terrible abuse and transforms into a spiritual leader. Sometimes, the reason a song is written is almost as good as the sound.

Sea Change by Beck
Feb 08 2026

Oh Beck - you complete me

B-52's by The B-52's

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Feb 10 2026

Steveie Wonder's voice is like a warm hug

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 11 2026

This is an album? I can think of 50 other artists that should have made this list. This is bulllshit putting me to sleep

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Feb 12 2026
