What a beautiful intro - never heard an amazing introduction in a while - given that it's a rock album. Very impressed ngl. Tuesday's gone - very sad ballad but the rock elements in this make it very comforting at the same time, feels like a hug during a tough time - specifically - you've gotten a bad news and there's someone comforting you as you are going through all sorts of emotions Gimme Three Steps - sounds more upbeat from the previous song the moment it begins. SImple Man - love the advice presented in it - "And don't forget, son, there is someone up above" " Forget the lust for the rich man's gold, all you need is your soul" "Follow your heart and nothing else" "Oh, be something you love and understand, Baby, be a simple kind of man" These songs stuck with me but I really love Tuesday's Gone, will have it on repeat for a while, that I know. Album rating: 4/5, just because the intensity in the first half kind of dies and clashes as we get onto the end, but lovely introduction to 70's rock
