Idk man, Skynyrd has never really been my thing. The album has all their early hits. I enjoyed Mississippi Kid, hadn't heard that one before. As a southern raised kid, at this point the endless guitar squeels of Freebird just feel played out

Elephant by The White Stripes
Feb 05 2026

A perfect 10 out of 10 album from my favorite band. No notes.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 06 2026

Liked this one a LOT more than I thought I would. Groovy, jazzy, abstract. Son of Mr. Green Genes and The Gumbo Variations stand out for me. I love the sax just going IN on Gumbo.

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Feb 07 2026

The magnum opus of the greatest to ever do it

Harvest by Neil Young
Feb 08 2026

Classic album. There are other Young records I prefer more, but a solid album nonetheless

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Feb 09 2026

Disco is a genre I'm very lightly familiar with. This could considered an intro of female disco vocal groups for myself. Enjoyable, definitely groovy. You can definitely hear Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards' production through the album.

L.A. Woman by The Doors

Classic album

Third by Portishead
Feb 16 2026

Equal parts haunting and beautiful

Heroes by David Bowie
Feb 17 2026
Let Love Rule by Lenny Kravitz
Feb 18 2026

Decent. Enjoyed it more than his more polished hits actually.
