1001 Albums Summary

Not really a big blues guy but had a fun time listening to it while reading a book in my hammock. Great sunny day background music.

Surprised I'd never heard this one before, although recognised the final track. Quite rare to have an album with it's notable banger as the closer. Maybe the most '60s' album I've ever heard - reminded me of about every classic rock album from the decade melded together. Angelic voices and some lovely melodies and harmonies, but only a few truly memorable tracks. Enjoyable listen with a few wonderful tunes but something I liked more than loved.

Didn't listen to the whole thing. Not bad exactly; she's got a great voice but it's just bland background music that reminded me of early 2000s adverts. Nothing grabbed me beyond the catchy singles which I didn't enjoy as I'd heard them 2000 times before while doing my shopping anyway. A very 'of it's time' album presumably mostly bought by parents. Hard to imagine many people in 2026 getting excited to listen back to the Norah Jones debut.

Funky shit. Mad fart noises and stuff. Really fun.

Great album. The Doors aren't really one of 'my bands' but this is a fun groovy, sexy, psychedelic fuckwagon of a record.

This album is 20 years old?! WTF. White Stripes have never been my jam. Solid album with some cool tracks but won't be coming back to it.

Great album. Probably a 5 tbh but personal enjoyment more of a 4.
