1001 Albums Summary

I usually skip live albums in any artist's discography (3rd live album I've listened to so far). This one made me fall in love with Nirvana completely. The grunge sound of their normal albums needs a certain mood so I can enjoy them, but this one was a joy from start to finish. The first time I've cried actual tears listening to a song (Where did you sleep last night) without seeing the performance too.

I don't know much about music theory or musical history in general so jazz is always kind of terrifying for me, and jazz fusion even more so. This was a pleasant listen overall. I enjoyed In a Silent Way more than Shh/Peaceful. I don't know what it was, I think the drums, but the repetition kind of grates on my brain after a while. The acoustic guitar at the start of In a Silent Way was a like balm after that.
