Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 11 2026

An all over the place album, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I really liked To Forgive. It also brought a little calm between all the other more intense songs, which was needed. I found Cupid de Locke a very pleasant song to listen to. The harp gives the song a dreamy quality. Galapagos is also a great song, and I even added the last song on the album to my own playlist. Some of the other songs were just a little too chaotic for me to fully enjoy. The album is very long, though. Twenty-eight songs that together last more than two hours is a bit excessive. I would have removed a few songs to make it a shorter album, and I can immediately point out which ones those would be. Because of its length, I won't be returning to this album anytime soon.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Feb 12 2026

My comment on The Smashing Pumpkins album was that it was far too long. But Stevie Wonder's album is almost as long and I don't give a damn. I knew from song 1 that this was going to get a 5+. Also, his 18th album, um, how come you still have inspiration? Village Ghetto Land could easily be turned into a musical, and I love it! Nothing to complain about!
