1001 Albums Summary

The music and its atmosphere is sensational, i think they nail the intent; i feel however, I am not in the headspace for the thematic it proposes, meaning it didn't land as it could've. I appreciate faster songs much more than slow ones, and while I liked it, but I wouldn't listen to it again until a long time has passed, nor would i go out of my way to do so.

I'm not big on rock of any sort; i have childhood songs that i adore, but new ones have never appealed to me indeed. Still, i heard it all and I can say some solos were very much to my liking, but they aren't worth sitting through the whole song for me specifically-

Dolly parton's voice is exquisite, it has an uplifting quality to it I am fond of. Not quite, but it reminds me to Mary Hopkin in the effect it has on myself.

I've never been a fan of slow rhythms in the majority of songs, moreso when it engulfs the song. I couldn't finish the album, but if there was a good song (to me) among the 3 i missed, it must've been the exception rather than part of the album's essence.
