1001 Albums Summary

Some incredibly good covers in here. Had heard 'Hurt' previously and possibly also "First Time I Ever Saw Your Face". Apart from that "In My Life" and "Personal Jesus" were favourites from the covers end of things. Will need to give this more listens!!

This was overall fine, not up my alley too much. Familiar with 'Gimme Shelter', I think "Let It Bleed" and definitely "You Can't Always Get What You Want" which I like. Perhaps don't love their blues-y style too much,

"Runnin' with the Devil" is an all-timer. 'Eruption" is absolutely insane. "You Really Got Me" highkey preferable to the original. I know a lot more songs from this album than I thought! Love the riff on 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love' - would've been a defining personality trait if I'd heard it when I was 15 years old. 'Jamie's Cryin'' -- is this a cover? No it's not. Overall enjoyed, a solid 3.75 but will round up to 4

Previously heard 'I Want You' but nothing else stuck, not my kind of music!

Enjoyed the little monologuing in between songs, another one to revisit for sure

No idea what I expected but I need to listen to more of their non-live stuff. I actually quite enjoyed several tracks.

Idk sometimes feels like a lot of Green Day sounds same-y.
