Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Feb 19 2026

I’m always impressed with how timeless every Stevie Wonder album sounds, and this is no exception. The musicianship, melodies, and song structures are god tier. I particularly enjoyed “Boogie On Reggae Woman,” which would be a banger in any era.

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Feb 20 2026

The recording has so much energy. It’s like the sound engineers just got out of the way and let these people cook. I love how crisp and layered the sounds are. The compositions and vocals are also just beautiful. What a record.

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Feb 23 2026

Consistently great. Love the rhythms and melodies. The songs are so propulsive. Of the 3 or so Police albums I’ve heard, this is my favorite.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Feb 24 2026

Didn’t listen to it this time around, but I had it on CD years ago. I remember it not really resonating with me like other classic rock of the period. I’ll revisit it.

Feb 26 2026

Very cool trip-hop elements. Reminds me a lot of Tricky. Had never heard of this before, but it’s a really cool listen. I will dive in more.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Mar 04 2026

Classic soft launch of an entire sub genre. Not sure how much they owe to Dyla stylistically, or vice versa, but this is great stuff.

Mar 05 2026

Has been in regular rotation since college. Perhaps the pinnacle of indie rock. Nearly flawless record melding melodic, Americana sensibility with studio fuckery, obtuse lyrics, and atmospheric beauty.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Mar 18 2026

It was a favorite when I was in high school, but I don’t know that it’s aged particularly well for me. There are other PJ albums I return to more frequently, but I think they are largely a band who’ve outstayed their welcome, which unfairly colors their past work for me.
