1001 Albums Summary

'Rise Above" and "Depression" are definitely going in my playlist. The concept is powerful. The simple words actually get the message across in some songs, but mostly the lyrics get muddled up, making it hard to understand. 'TV Party' is such a vibe, life story for real!! I like how simple and quirky it is; a full on sitcom episode and I love that. Rest of the album was an experience (not my type but it was worth listening to).

I like the interesting fusion vibe it has, definitely not study music though, there is too much going on for me hehe. But I liked the album!

Definitely one of the better suggestions on this project hehe, loved the initial intro, classic rock elements that I really liked :)

First Desi-esk Rec and honestly, I don't know how to feel? Like it feels like a great attempt at the fusion of indian carnatic with the electro pop that rose in the 90s. The first track was way too long in duration, but I can see the stylistic choice with that. next few songs were fine until Decca hit, and Decca I absolutely didn't like. Eclipse was better than most of the songs, Shankar Mahadevan vibes, but that's all there is to it. Personally, I don't want to listen on to the rest of the album, because to me, this still feels hollow. 'OK' the track feels like a taunt, an imitation of the vibe it's trying to give. The dialogue in the songs are poetic, but somehow random? They don't fit the context of the song has set up. The rest of the album becomes repetitive and similar.

A classic Red Hot Chilli Pepper Rec, if I'm not wrong this is probably the most known album? The flow in each song is so unique, one of the better recs!!
