1001 Albums Summary

Very quirky. A little bit chaotic and then a little bit chill. Jazz yet electronic vibes and funk elements. Crazy that this was made over 50 years ago. It sounds like someone would make something like this now. Only four tracks, instrumental - must have been very interesting at the time. Still is very interesting.

The first song on the album (Shining Star) is awesome - seriously awesome. But the rest of the album just didn't hit for me... There's no denying that EWF is a fantastic group with amazing vocals, but it just wasn't for me.

Good... a few of their very famous songs are on this album. It didn't blow me away though... it was good, and easy to listen to. Very chill and mild.

Umm, not to be rude but this was pretty meh... I don't know if it was revolutionary for the time or what but this just didn't grab me at all. The first track on the album is instrumental and that was my fave. This is the first time I've listened to the Pixies and I've always heard they were a 'cool' band, but I was expecting something more than this... sorry. 2/5
