I don't listen to a lot of 70s/80s psychadelic music, but based on the album art and what I know about the band, this was a very trippy psychedelic album. Easy listening for work from home. I'm not sure if I'd reach for this album again, but it was a nice listen.
When this album came out, I was in high school and was more into singles than entire albums, so I had never listened to the entire album before. Obviously I knew the big three songs, “Hello”, “When we were young,” and “Send my Love (To your new lover).” I really liked the songs “River Lea” and “Million Years Ago.” I think I might like this album better than 21 (which is super overplayed in my honest opinion). 10/10 album and I can’t believe it took me this long to listen in it’s entirety.
I’m not a big heavy metal fan, but I like some Black Sabbath songs. After listening to this album, I think 70s and 80s heavy metal is classic rock with a bit of metal thrown in and I enjoyed this album a lot more than I thought I would. Am I a Black Sabbath fan now??? I might just be
I knew Leonard Cohen is one of the greats but I never realized HOW great he is. This album gave me a warm fuzzy feeling and I really enjoyed it. Not the biggest folk fan but I liked this album.
Not the biggest reggae fan but it was alright.
The album was okay, but I'm not the biggest classic rock fan so it wasn't for me. Great background music and I might give it another listen to reassess.
Not my favorite. Not the biggest classic rock fan.
I really liked this album. There’s a reason Jimi Hendrix is a classic
Good pop album. I like British rock and this album did not disappoint
Great album. I liked it a lot. I wasn't super familiar with U2 before listening to (all I knew about them was that they were Irish and made everyone download their Songs of Innocence Album in 2014), but this album made me appreciate them a lot more. I loved the political nature of the album and it had a good sound.
It was not for me but I recognize why people loved it. Folk isn't my go-to type of music.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS ALBUM. SO fun! Kept me pumped up while working. I absolutely LOVE purple rain so I had high hopes but this album is so good
I’ve listened to this album before but never in its entirety. It’s a masterpiece for good reason. Has some of the Beatles biggest songs and I love the toned back vibe of this album (even down to the album cover)
I really liked this album.
