Light to decent 6 on this one. Great album, lovely listen overall. Amazing in a rainy day and mood, expresses the feeling of falling in and out of love. Aretha and the soul music on this album is perfect, didnt clicked for me as the genre yet. not too many individual hits. We all know the song "Respect", a great hit, also "I never loved the man the way I love you" .I absolutely appreciate the lyricism at "A change is gonna come"- I was born by the river...

The opening is smooth, the water motive amazes me and I have to listen again. Down to the waterline, six blade knife and wild west end are good, but this album just makes the debate about the sultans of swing being one of the best of all time be a waste of time. Banger, feels like I'm on a great adventure while tuning into this one. Road tripping is the vibe of the album. Gonna listen again, good Rock at my ears. Its hard to think this album was recorded 50 years from now! "Hotel California" tops the album for sure no doubt, as an opening track, and we also got "new kid in town", "wasted time" and "try and love again". Really loved the vibe and the whole experience
