1001 Albums Summary

Revolver is an old favorite.

I've heard this one many times.

It's hard to believe this was released in 1977. Their sound was more sophisticated than what I remember from other music in that era. I can hear a taste of what would come from Ricki Lee Jones in about two years.

I thought I was going to like this more than I did. Just didn't hold my attention.

I liked this as a teenager. Grown past it now. A few fun songs - "Legs" and "Sharp Dressed Man."

Though I'm not a big jazz fan, I could appreciate his iconic talent in "Birth of the Cool."
