The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Mar 03 2026

The perfect does of melodic melancholy that The Smiths are renowned for. Didn't pack too much of a punch or try anything superbly unique...but it didn't need to.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Mar 04 2026

I thoroughly enjoyed this album way more than expected. A solid electronic ethereal vibe with pleasant digestible vocals made for a great mind wandering listen.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Mar 05 2026

David Bowie. Enough said. (Although I'm a little biased it was still a sonically pleasing album with impressive, catchy, and unique instrumentals in songs that I was less familiar with. All round great collection of songs.)

Disintegration by The Cure
Mar 06 2026

Very rarely does a record provide such an apt name for the sound produced within, but the cure has done so masterfully. The have captured the essence of 'disintegration', I can feel myself disintegrating into the sound waves themselves as each song progresses. Some beautiful and experimental sounds but nothing that blew me away.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Mar 07 2026

Actually loved this. My only gripe is that I wasn't listening to this on my drive home, accompanied by a beautiful sunset and maybe a beach. The Masayoshi Takanaka of Brazil

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Mar 11 2026

Nothing great. Nothing notably bad.
