1001 Albums Summary

I guess it was alright. I'm not very big into electronica and more artificial sounding music (As in, sampling and artificial instruments). There are some tracks that caught my attention, and I wouldn't mind listening to them again, such as All I need. I saw some other reviews of this album, and I would have to agree, the bass parts are great. But overall, not quite my cup of tea, but I wouldn't complain if it came up in a road trip playlist.

Some great tracks in here, but even after giving it an honest listening, I truly can't get into metal. It doesn't excite me, doesn't click with me. I know it is technically impressive, and even talked to some friends about this album since I only have superficial knowledge on the genre - it's amazing tha Van Halen was able to revolutionize the way people play and listen the guitar, but I guess I'm one of those who his work couldn't reach or move.
