I liked the blend of genres and use of electronic music and mixing different genres together and I can definitely see how he's been influential, however I've heard better albums that have blended genres together with electronica and the album didnt feel as cohesive as I wished. There were a few songs I did enjoy, like 'Devils haircut' 'Derelict' 'sissyneck' and 'high 5 (rock the Catskills)'
easy to listen to and enjoyed some of it but towards the end it got a little boring. I liked the production and some of the instrumental songs
I liked a few songs at the start of the album, which were the biggest hits from the album. But, after those songs the album didn't hit the same as I hoped. Rock genre definitely isnt for me, but I think Bono has a great voice and I liked some of the lyrics, but just not for me.
Folk isnt my favourite genre and I found this album to not be my favourite either. The only parts I really liked were the background vocals and the songs with South African musicians and the only song I really liked was 'You can call me Al'
really not for me it was fun, but it got repetitive and boring after a while. It's not something I would listen to again but if it was on I could vibe to it
I didn't know what to except as I am not an avid Beatles listener, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoy a lot of it
