1001 Albums Summary

Shift in beatles sound, first really good project of theirs. Still a bit pop-bopper-y but way more psych influence.

Less silly-goofy than more popular Bowie, not quite as dramatic (but still plenty of course). Great soundscape, very atmospheric. For active listening perhaps drags a little in the middle.

Obviously talented artistry and range on display here, and I love the production on this album. Her voice is very unique and iconic as well. Perhaps not what I would choose to listen to all the time but I think it belongs on this list for creativity alone.
