The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Mar 24 2026

Not a big band jazz fan, but Ray is definitely a solid voice of the genre during his time.

The Score by Fugees
Mar 26 2026

During the golden age of hip hop, this was a standout album.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Mar 27 2026

Not a Bob Dylan fan, and this album is exactly what I think of when I think of Bob Dylan. So I don't like it, but I respect it's authenticity and understand why some folks are all about it.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Apr 07 2026

Hell yes, this album opens with one of my favorite Muddy Waters songs. When life gets in your face, throw Mannish Boy on and remember who the fuck you are.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Apr 08 2026

Criminally underrated hip hop group. This is probably their best album top to bottom, but I don't think that they ever put together what I would consider a complete great album. They do have plenty of great songs, and many on this one.

Soul Mining by The The
Apr 09 2026

It seems fine if you’re into that new wave sound. I’m not, and nothing about this album stands out to me.
