1001 Albums Summary

- starting strong, nice punky-crispy sound right off the bat - not a huge fan of spoken word parts that are off rhythm - sort of feels like mother mother and the garden got mashed together - most songs sound the same - the "you fuckin' die" thing goes on way too long - kind of annoying. probly 5/10

- i love this guy's voice!! he sings parasite, one of my fav acoustic songs - beautiful acoustic/strings instrumental introduction :) - good pace, very versatile and listenable! can be great for active listening or upbeat background noise - bonus points for a cool album cover - gorgeous combination between smooth, gentle acoustics and bright tangy brass!! that's hard to pull of imo but it works so well here - would be a 5/5 if it had replayability for me. nothing wrong with it, its not quite the flavor of music i enjoy listening to regularly. it's lovely otherwise

- get the impression this is going to be another album that i'll enjoy once and will never think about again; i.e. good album just not my cup of tea - another one i'm giving bonus points for having a dope album cover - first song kinda sounds like a cartoon opening soundtrack - all of them sound like soundtracks actually - again. its lovely and well made its just not what i enjoy 2/5
