1001 Albums Summary

not sure how to describe music properly yet, but it's a bit too country/white for my tastes. instrumentals are sometimes weird in the best way possible. see why people would enjoy this, though. springsteen's vocals are rich, full, and heavy; pleasant to listen to. album grew on me as i continued listening through the whole thing. thunder road 6.5/10 tenth avenue freeze-out 6.5/10 night 7.5/10 backstreets 8/10 born to run 8/10 she's the one 7/10 meeting across the river 8.5/10 jungleland 7/10

rated my first 1001 album song-by-song, but there's too many in this one, so i think i just won't anymore. honestly didn't have the heart to say it about the previous album, but it's generic. this is no different. very similar to a lot of bands around the 90's, doesn't stand out that much. still a pleasant listen, though.

enjoyed this one! can definitely tell it was released in 1969. funnily enough, the first thing that came to mind was the penny collection. the types of songs in this album would be the type I would add to my main playlist, then add it to my favs, then sort-of regret adding to my favs playlist, and then be glad I didn't add it to rot. the vibes are definitely very familiar. it's the type of album where i would've found the artists and spam-added them to my 10k playlist (hands).
