1001 Albums Summary

not sure how to describe music properly yet, but it's a bit too country/white for my tastes. instrumentals are sometimes weird in the best way possible. see why people would enjoy this, though. springsteen's vocals are rich, full, and heavy; pleasant to listen to. album grew on me as i continued listening through the whole thing. thunder road 6.5/10 tenth avenue freeze-out 6.5/10 night 7.5/10 backstreets 8/10 born to run 8/10 she's the one 7/10 meeting across the river 8.5/10 jungleland 7/10

rated my first 1001 album song-by-song, but there's too many in this one, so i think i just won't anymore. honestly didn't have the heart to say it about the previous album, but it's generic. this is no different. very similar to a lot of bands around the 90's, doesn't stand out that much. still a pleasant listen, though.
