1001 Albums Summary

Eventhough this usually would not be my go to album, there were some parts that were catchy and I enjoyed. Still i am not a fan of the vocal style, after a while it felt monotonous and nothing really stuck with me.

Title track and first song was really fun and engaging - also was my favourite song on the album. The constant use of samples and their variety reminded me a bit of a beat tape which I enjoy in general. I previously only knew them from their collab with blood orange that I really enjoyed and it was the first project from them, that i gave a chance to. Though the album dragged for me a bit in the end and only 3 songs stuck with me, ill listen again and think it was fun.

not violent, not femmes… just plain white men music. whiny and outdated lyrics - maybe also just not my genre but this was not a good listening experience.
