1001 Albums Summary

Sexually frustrated angst noise... It's punk and that is what I more or less expect. I just don't like it that much in a normal listening context. Probably makes for a fun show but not exactly for musical appreciation, rather a visceral emotional out cry. Not cerebral at all, pure brain stem in a reptilian way as if the Id itself made music.

Very fun Celtic punk with a bouncing timeless old sound. Defiant with strong feelings of humanism and romanticism with the sense of punching up from a low position purely out of hope, spite, and the joy of life with nothing left to lose.

Is he singing or talking? Is he just drunk all the time and slurring? Is this the musical equivalent of up speak? Simple music with a man trying to sing over it that maybe some people find fun. Bet the guy was fun at parties, but I don't think I would pay to listen to him live or otherwise.
