1001 Albums Summary

It was lowk interesting cuz i dont normally like albums with this kind of sound. Hit e59 on balatro, wish I got better vouchers to go serpent hunting. Last song defo stuck out the most as the worst, really liked the camera eye. last song was just so repetitive

Really enjoyed How much more You cant walk in your sleep Is so fire thats a 4/5 song overall album was really fun, as an all girl band kinda gave me vibes of bikni kill and some other all girl genres but obvs with that 80s vibe

ive listened to the first 4? by now, so far its ok, idk why I'm not into it, just i liked hanging garden. ok this is day 2s thoughts, listened to strange day to pornography. cold is by far my favorite track of this LP 🤓☝️, pretty tuff and I think it works much better as like a vibes song. overall album I think is a 3/5, I wish it leaned more into the instrumental soundscape vibe if that makes sense.

defo needed something tuff as nails after listening to the cure yesterday. tbh I'm thinking these albums kinda set the mood of music I'm listening to that day, defo gonna listen to some drum and bass/breakcore after this.

i love jack white 4/5 overall but some of these are 5/5 songs like fell in love with a girl. If i could it would be a 4.5/5

TS SLAPS banger after banger i literally never hated a song or felt like it didn't contribute to the album Idk how high I want to set the bar for what is a 5/5 but this might be it. Giving it another listen tomorrow it's tomorrow now, ts slaps so hard. giving it a 5

Good enough to listen to in the background, but too many songs stayed for too long. I'm not entirely against long songs as long as I feel like they are either 1. lyrically interesting enough to justify the length and looping instrumentality, or if 2. they develop the instrumental aspects of the song clearly and well. Pale blue eyes did this well, The murder mystery, while I understand what it was attempting to do, the mono tone voice and repetitive instrumental tracks make it hard to follow the story they are trying to do. The nicest thing I can say about this song is that the guitar kinda reminded me of Chop Suey.
