1001 Albums Summary

I'm a lyrics type of gal. Instrumentals don't really satisfy me so this album really had a hard time convincing me. I like a lot of swing-inspired modern songs so I thought I'd like it a lot more than I did. It feels very simplistic to me. I went in completely blind not knowing anything about it. I'm glad I tried something new, but it didn't land for me. Especially the song called Israel, that I skipped, but it already lost me by then.

All the songs blend into each other too much. It just feels like one long song. No diversity.

Would listen again to around 2 songs on it but not really my cup of tea. It felt too slow, like every song was dragged.
