1001 Albums Summary

My fav: Peace Frog (funky), Waiting for the Sun (I liked to trumpet it along), Ship of Fools (the beat!), the beginning of Indian Summer is also soooo nice, but then becomes basic and a bit annoying… I really like the vibes and the way this album turns your room into a cozy vinyl store somewhere in a tiny street in Paris. And it feels like if I look out of the window there will be US in 1970, ok?! Rating: 7,5/10

My fav: Green Onions (obviously), One Who Really Loves You (has good vibes), Comin’ Home Baby (AURA), I Got A Woman (the beat ah) I love how the name of the song actually fits the theme and the melody, very accurate. Wes Anderson could def use some of the tunes in his movies!

let's begin with the fact that i love Prince, ok? Fav: "Let's Go Crazy" (I mean the ending is just something and i love "Kingsman" too, so it is a perfect shot), "Darling Nikki" (WOW gurl!), "Baby I'm a Star" (really caught my attention). and a separate paragraph for... PURPLE RAIN, i feel it with all my heart and think of the farm Canigea... it's such a shame... it is such a bitchy rock star album that is just roaring and i like it! and the comosition of songs is like a cake with a cherry on top. ma bella...

the way the album opens sets the tone for everything that follows. but I didn’t like it at all tho, none of the songs felt pleasant to my soul :(

I like the vibes, but the real fire and the mood is only “Le Freak”, the rest of the songs is just a reflection of that… But good for the cozy and cool background! Oui oui
