1001 Albums Summary

I personally don't like American rock. I find the production of this album interesting, especially considering it was done by only two people. However, musically, I think all the songs sounded the same. The lyrics were annoyingly positive, very American style. I won't put any songs on my playlist.

I thoroughly enjoyed this album. The lyrics, the guitar arrangements, the drums—simply stunning. I keep at least 70% of the songs on my playlist.

It was a very easy album to listen to. It made me uncomfortable at times, but I understand that's the style. The lyrics made me feel flirty and undoubtedly raised the temperature. As for the music, it's very pleasant and soft. I'd put it on to fall asleep if it weren't for the lyrics.
