Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys
Apr 24 2026

I liked that the Boo Radleys pulled from lots of different influences with this album. The singer wasn't my favorite, however. I don't know that I would listen to the whole album again.

Apr 25 2026

Embarrassingly, I hadn't listened to other Eno albums all the way through before this. I can definitely see how he's influenced so many others. I've always loved the song 'By the River.'. Overall, solid album.

Apr 26 2026

When I first saw the album cover, I was convinced I had never heard of the band before but the second Brimful of Asha played a ton of middle school memories flooded back! Had I been in college when this album came out, I definitely would've been interested in this band. I really liked the Indian influence and cover of Norwegian Wood. I'd definitely check this album out again.

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Apr 27 2026

Love Cocteau Twins, love this album! Very moody, very 80s!!

Fun House by The Stooges
Apr 28 2026

Fun way to start a Monday morning! Nothing quite like a 36 minute album.

So Much For The City by The Thrills
Apr 29 2026

Man! It's been a minute since I've heard Big Sur. This is definitely a very specific subgenre of Indie Pop (e.g., Phantom Planet and Rooney). While the music isn't bad, I don't love the lead singer's voice.

Jack Takes the Floor by Ramblin' Jack Elliott
Apr 30 2026

YouTube Music didn't have this specific album so I listened to Essential Ramblin' Jack instead and I loved it! Strong Woody Guthrie vibes which I appreciate.

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
May 01 2026

When I first saw that this would be Sly & the Family Stone, I was excited! But this album was a little slower than I was anticipating.

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
May 02 2026

I enjoyed this album - very 1970s rock.
