Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel

Honestly, I'm not a "pro reviewer", so don't expect a very elaborated review, these are just my thoughts and impressions. So, this album, it's cool, at first I thought it was gonna be some The Beatles-type of album but I was wrong. I'm not into folk music but impressively I liked this album a lot, the experimentation at the very first track (Bookends Theme), set a big expectation of the direction the album was about to take. Despite the following tracks were more traditional in some kind of way, the project never lost coherence nor freshness. So, yep, those are my impressions of the album, a very good one that will surely make me listen the discography of these guys. PD: I will improve my "reviews" on the following albums I listen to, I promise

I liked this album, but PERSONALLY it has a huge problem, Shirley Manson's voice is horrible, TO ME, she doesn't sing well. As I was listening to it, the sound of the project was becoming progressively more and more "dirty". I think that these are all my thoughts, maybe the more I listen to this album, the more of a fan I'll become, idk, maybe it's just not for me at all.
