Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
May 01 2026

Overall an enjoyable & easy listen. Favorite track was Mr. Brownstone. It's an influential and very well-made album, but it's hard not to cringe at how 80's it is!

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
May 02 2026

Very beautiful and enlightening look into the early days of metal. You could see exactly what they were going for and they nailed it. Even though the song structure felt a little meandering at times, the quality of the lyrics and melodies made up for it for me.

In The Wee Small Hours by Frank Sinatra
May 03 2026

This is exceedingly beautiful music, and it's a classic for a reason. The story of heartbreak in this album is palpable. That being said, I do feel it could have been slightly shortened.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
May 04 2026

An easy listen, but felt pretty boring to me. If I gave it another listen, I'd probably like it more.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
May 05 2026

The album overall was emotional, but the song structure and lyrical style weren't really for me. This being said, I felt River was a very lovely track.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
May 06 2026

Just a classic rock n' roll good time. Good songwriting, good melodies and instrumentation, and good length/structure. Vocals do get a little grating on some songs, but it's hard not to find it charming when the lyrics are so heartfelt.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
May 07 2026

It's not unlistenable, but neither is it memorable.
