1001 Albums Summary

I thought this was supposed to be the LeBron of albums. Instead it’s the guy who was a baller in high school but never made it off the bench in college. Extremely overrated.

This one had some great bangers. It was funny too. I was honestly surprised by how much of it I recognized. There was definitely some filler and even for a double album it felt long. I think I would normally go 4 starts, but I’m gonna go 5 just because I think it will shake out that way compared to most of these other albums; we will have to see how it compares. Not as good as the queen is dead though.

Ok this one actually pissed me off a little bit. Soundslop.

Not for me. The grunting and growling was pretty funny though. And I liked the end of the second song.

Probably a low 4 stars. Wasn’t super interested at first but it grew on me as the album went on. I liked the super electronic turn of the track No Sympathy.

Very enjoyable listen. I began to lose a bit of interest through the middle and the end - that is why 4 stars not 5.

Great album. Pretty important for 90s pop punk. Although I find myself liking it less than I used to. Still 5 stars though.
