Son of Sam: sounds a little like Jake from ipa. Vocal harmonies and a little slapback are cool. Good chords on guitar with light distortion. Fuzzy solo. Cool piano and guitar interlude. Cool ambient fade out. Somebody that I used to know: guitar is doing cool things with a solo and a bit of percussion Everything reminds me of her: Cool guitar intro and solo mixed with chords throughout the song. Sad lyrics. Everything means nothing to me: not my favorite weird dissonant piano progression and reverb on the drums had a bad slapback effect on tone not great In the lost and found: I like the Wild West piano tone. Interesting ambient outro Overall: vocal tone doesn’t match instruments. I feel like there is something natural about the tone of the vocals and the instruments make it seem like the song will be more than what it is. Lyrics and notes of the vocals aren’t that interesting. Weird fluctuation between happiness and sadness. Seems like it’s trying to be more than it is and it’s a little misleading. First three songs were misleading made me think the album was gonna be more than what it was.
