Tuesday May 19th, 2026. This album felt pretty generic country to me, but also had some unique flare in the topics of songs and motifs. Some of it reminded me of Duke Ellington music, so it was likely somewhat inspired by Duke Ellington if that wasn't a coincidence. I did enjoy Muddy Waters' voice, and its always great to hear an album that was recorded live. My favorite song of the album was Tiger in Your Tank because it was funny. Overall, I didn't love it and didn't hate it. 6.5/10
Wednesday May 20th, 2026. I did enjoy this album due to its use of electronic instruments and some really nice licks throughout. I also tend to enjoy experimental rock when I listen to it. My favorite song of the album was Perpetual Change. Overall, a pretty good album. 7.5/10.
Thursday May 21st, 2026. It was nice to listen to some Bob Dylan songs that are lesser known. Lyrically, he continues to be a master of his craft; however, a lot of the songs sound pretty similar to me. (I also am not a huge country fan.) I used to not be a huge fan of Bob Dylan's voice but honestly I like his singing a lot now. My favorite song of the album was Tombstone Blues. 7/10.
Friday May 22nd, 2026. I really enjoyed this album. It is a nice mix of unique style and traditional rock the I enjoy. It can almost sound pretty ethereal. I also really like the cover art. My favorite song of the album was Red Barchetta. 8.5/10
Saturday May 23rd, 2026. I didn't enjoy this album. It had lots of cool effects that made it sound nice, but the lyrics were so very strange. 4/10.
Sunday May 24th, 2026. This album was great. I am a sucker for real instruments, and some of the hornline licks in this album were so freaking good. There is almost some classical influence in the chord structure while also remaining in a rock style and it works super well. I also enjoy the piano parts and lyrics. This is definitely a unique style and I like it. 9/10.
Monday May 25th, 2026. I really liked this album because I am a fan of big band jazz. While this, to me, doesn't compare to Duke Ellington or Glenn Miller, it certainly is pretty good. A lot of the licks are very nice and I like the theming of the album. The variety of songs is also nice. 8/10. Also the trombone low notes in "Duet" and "Flight of the Foo Birds" were very peak.
Tuesday May 26th, 2026. Its giving "Intro music of a moderately well rated 2000s TV show". I am a fan of many of the more famous Radiohead songs but I wasn't a huge fan of this album. I like the piano parts in some of the songs but I didn't like some of the electronic effects. I really liked the intro of "I Might Be Wrong" though. 6/10.
Wednesday May 27th, 2026. This album was alright. I enjoyed the guitar and drumset parts. I don't really like the singer's voice and most of the songs didn't really resonate with me. It is a good album, just not really for me. 6.5/10.
Thursday May 28th, 2026. I enjoy the variety of the album, as well as the lyrics. This album manages to have great lyrical complexity while also having variety in instrumentation and the overall sound of songs, which is cool. I also do like the theming of the album. 8/10.
Friday May 29th, 2026. I enjoyed this album. Some of the chord progressions in the songs were really good and a lot of the lyrics were good. I like David Bowie's voice. There really isn't much wrong with this album.
Saturday May 30th, 2026. As I listen to Muddy Waters' more, I start to enjoy his music more and more. I like the blues, and Muddy Waters' is a great blues musician. I like the unique character of his music, especially in the lyrics. A lot of the songs sound similar but its the blues, so that makes sense. There are also some great piano parts. 9/10.
Sunday May 31st, 2026. The album is very funky with a good beat, whoever is on drums does great. I don't mind the vocals but they aren't my favorite. It was tuff when they said "hey diddle diddle I will play my fiddle." The lead singer does scream a little too much. 6.5/10.
