1001 Albums Summary

i think this might be one of my favourite title tracks for an album ever, i’ve been familiar with hotel california and the eagles forever but this is the first time i’ve actually payed a bit of attention fully to her and this song is incredible. that is an impeccable opener. okay taking into account that I have been familiar with the eagles, but I have only ever known a couple songs at best through the radio or just in the wild, i didn’t expect more of a country sound tbh, i thought it would be a bit more rocky but its actually pretty fantastic. three songs in and i’m hooked, that riff in life in the fast lane is sensational. i think the first three tracks is my favourite 3 track run of all time

this was a good pick for a really nice day, the opening track is really great, i will say i do have beef with that sexy boy song purely just out of annoyance, as the album goes on my thoughts throughout each song would shift from “idk how i feel about it” to “okay i like it” until i hit remember, that is my stand out of the album, i enjoyed it more than i thought i would, take songs like you make it easy, its a pretty good song, i enjoyed it, nothing less than that is how i’d describe this album, i’m surprised at how much i did enjoy it but it is pretty good.

i wasn’t familiar at all w frank zappa before this so going into this i had nothing to base it on. i dod enjoy this album, its a great listen, maybe if i listened to more of his stuff i’d be into it

i put this album on and the title track lost me straight away, but is followed by one of the best songs i have ever heard, continuing with genuine masterpieces of music that i did not expect from this. after super stupid i was getting flashbacks to the feeling i felt from listening to slash’s first solo album for the first time. even with the last track having the same psychedelic rock sound as the first track i was still hooked. i’ve had to listen to the title track again, i’m officially sold. this is one of the best albums i have ever heard. more pussy to the people

i liked this way more than i expected

i enjoyed this album as much as i’m not familiar with jethro tull, highlights were hymn 43, up to me, wondr’ing aloud and wind up. i appreciate the prog rock in this a lot!
