Slow, very pretty. This was my first time listening to Lana Del Rey intentionally and I can say I enjoyed it. I think the album was a bit too long, but her voice was very pretty and I like the harmonies and country twang going on.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
May 25 2026

The album kind of feels like a moment before an explosion happens. The energy is high, but doesn’t feel like it really gets the release it’s looking for. de la Rocha’s vocals are insane on this one and I love a good cowbell which they incorporate numerous times. All in all, great title album and listening to Killing in the Name brings me back to being a kid and having my mom teach me about why we don’t talk to cops.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
May 26 2026

I used to be a real Led Zeppelin hater way back not so long ago. My step dad wouldn’t shut up about them and I found it annoying so I refused to really give them a chance. While it was Led Zeppelin III that really changed my mind because Immigrant Song whips ass, their first album is unmatched. Plant’s vocals are insane. We need more men moaning in their songs, where did that go?

Being There by Wilco
May 28 2026

Some of the guitar and other string instruments sound so tender at times. While I feel it was a bit too long and some songs blended together too much, I would say I enjoyed a lot of this album. The Lonely 1 has to be one of my favorite tracks. It all makes me wonder what they were writing about.

Shadowland by k.d. lang
May 29 2026

KD Lang and her sultry voice ugh! This album kind of melted together like butter. I love the jazzy elements and her lovely clear voice. You can really hear the Patsy Cline influence in how she sings. I can imagine swaying and dancing in the kitchen to this one. Lets go Canadiand! Lets go lesbians!

The Wildest! by Louis Prima

it was messed up when he didn’t come to the big night

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Jun 03 2026

I think this kind of sound is just not my favorite in general. It did make me feel like I was in a grungey 90s show though which was fun for the first couple songs.

Guero by Beck

E-Pro is totally electric and definitely my fav on the album. I don’t think the rest really called to me as much.

One of my favorite albums ever, but I always skip oh daddy The cheating and drama really do make it what it is and maybe it’s a miracle it even got made despite the terrors

Arrival by ABBA

some great highs and some flops, I’m not super into Happy Hawaii. But some of my favorite ABBA songs are on here as well, so I mostly enjoyed it.

Fun and upbeat, I enjoyed how punchy and short it was. This isn’t my favorite style of punk, but I think it would be fun to dance to.

Kind of boring and sleepy to me. I know Pamela De Barre loved The Byrds, but idk if I totally get the hype on this album. Although, Triad really was right on the nose for me. Kind of funny I’m listening to that right now at this moment in my life.
