1001 Albums Summary

“No More Trouble” and “Slave Driver” are the two highlights for me. Ultimately, I still don’t care for reggae but I find myself better understanding its draw. I like the harmonies and background vocals more than anything else. The guitar is redundant, in both rhythm and tone, and I really dislike most of the organ throughout. I give it 6/10 mostly for its impact.

This album demonstrates Fogerty’s ability to just shit hits. It’s dirty, muddy, dark, and ominous. Love the album

There are interesting and unique ideas here, but it ultimately holds no weight nor remembrance to me.
