1001 Albums Summary

So this is actually a record I’ve had in my collection for years. Popping up as the first album in this series felt a little like drudgery I’ve always thought this record a bit repetitive. Digging deeper I come to find out the repeating motifs were how it was intended to be, more like a classical music suite than an album made for singles. Gives me a new respect for the album but didn’t fundamentally alter my opinion of it.

The first two songs of this album turned me off and almost made me stop listening but I forced myself through and found the remainder of the album to be very good. Still not my cup of tea but I didn't hate it.
