1001 Albums Summary

There’s some albums that you know you’re going to have to listen to multiple times to really appreciate them. This was not one of them. It wasn’t terrible, but nothing really stood out to me. I will not be keeping this album in my rotation

This came on a gloomy, rainy day which was perfect for listening to this stunning album

The only song off this album I was already familiar with was Sultans of Swing (which is undoubtedly awesome), so I had high expectations to which this album fell short. It started out strong with Down to the Waterline, but afterwards I gradually lost interest. I wish I liked it more, but I think, besides those two songs, this album has little replay value for me

5 stars for my grandpa who loved Willie Nelson

Peaked with “We Will Not Be Lovers”

Songs had a good melody but were very repetitive and went on far too long. Not the kind of album I would choose to put on for myself, but I wouldn’t mind listening at a party or something

Pleasant listening experience. I think I’d have to listen a couple more times to fully appreciate it

There was some potential but shoving 28 songs into a 41 minute album made it hard to get into any individual song

This was different than anything I’ve heard before. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but it kinda grew on me. I especially liked Nutrocker! Might be fun to revisit in the future
