MOJO PIN - i love the guitar background but what is a mojo pin GRACE - the bridge and his voice are beautiful, feels more modern LAST GOODBYE - feels like springtime and cherry blossoms, i love the line "kiss me out of desire, not out of consolation" LILAC WINE - quieter then other songs so far, feels older SO REAL - more rocky than other songs, punky HALLUJAH - more intimate (both in speech and in literal) - the contrast btwn piety and sex is interesting LOVER, YOU SHOULD HAVE COME OVER - already listened to CORPUS CHRISTI CAROL - holy vocal ability, i love the "ye olden lyrics" ETERNAL LIFE - so real esclated into super crazy, feels like an oppenent to hallujah in meaning DREAM BROTHER - feels like a spooky nightmare FORGET HER - good summary of the album

AROUND THE WORLD: i loveeeeee the riffs and rap-style lyric delivery PARALLEL UNIVERSE: the drums clearly shine in this song, the guitar solo at the end is so fire SCAR TISSUE: the way he sings push-up bra scratches my brain, i like it OTHERSIDE: more sad, but the pacing of lyrics in the beginning with such a beautiful riff is gorgeous GET ON TOP: "right on" is soooo cringy, shows the age of the album CALIFORNICATION: clever play on words, clearly the song that they put the most time in so far on the lyrics EASILY: feels punk PORCELAIN: very modern, slow, i like EMIT REMMUS: interesting title and i like the contrast between american man and english woman I LIKE DIRT: cheeky and funny while still being poetic THIS VELVET GLOVE: good riff at the beginning but this feels like every other song i've listened to on this album SAVIOR: varies throughout the song and is a clear standout - like the bridge, yes ma'am PURPLE STAIN: these lyrics are lowkey making me throw up like dude idc about what you do at night but i do like the "we all live in hollywood part" that's fun RIGHT ON TIME: holy whiplash oh my gosh this is better then coffee for waking someone up and not in a good way ROAD TRIPPIN': croony FAT DANCE: ew OVER FUNK: funk is the right way to describe it QUIXOTICELIXER: sounds like everything else on the album
