1001 Albums Summary

Very moody- could be the perfect vibe for a specific dreamy “don’t care” day. Overall not my thing, find it repetitive sounding and I’m not in love with the tone of the rapping. Something I can appreciate, not something I’m saving to my library though.

Some worthwhile guitar solos- some songs I know and love from growing up, total classic. Added some to my library

I think it very powerfully captured female rage. I loved the themes of poetic lashback against abuse, bulemia, and women being treated as objects. “Asking for it”s lyrics resonated as I believe it would for most women. I don’t like the sound of her actual singing though and the music style- love what it stands for not what it is haha

It’s a classic. Never listened to it all the way through, think he has great musical talent but don’t love his specific tone. Lover, you should have come over has always been a staple for me but I added dream brother and hallelujah too. Haunting, unique, soulful, I liked it

TOTAL BANGER. I loved at the slower and sensual ones- many made it to my library. Elvis is a classic- and many of these I hadn’t heard before!

Wouldn’t say it was a spiritual experience but it was definitely a mental one. It challenged my instant gratification. I felt a different sensation in each song, super cool, loved the experience, probably will tell people about it, won’t do it again.

I only like some jazz….
